Making this a positive experience for you and your dog is my priority
Please ensure you look at my galleries and ensure that my style is what you like and will fit with your expectations. All photographers have their own esthetics. My photos tend to be light and crisp, but not everyone likes this style, so please make sure I am the right photographer for you before booking.
I also want to ensure that the experience is positive not only for you, but for your dog. An hour is usually the max for most dogs. Some dogs are uncomfortable with new locations or people, etc. If I believe a dog is overly stressed or just can't handle the pressure of what we are asking of him/her, we will take a break or cut the session short as the dog's wellness is top priority. That said, we will do everything possible to get you the best images to cherish for years to come.

What's the process?
Step 1
Fill out the form
Once you've reviewed my galleries and decided you'd like to work with me, please fill out the Contact form and let me know you are interested in booking a session. I'll send you a Form to fill out so I can gain more information on what type of images you were interested in for our session.
Step 2
Pre-Session Call
I'll schedule a quick call for us to talk briefly so I can gain a little more detail around the images you are looking for and to discuss details around location, what to bring and plan everything out prior to your session.
Step 3
Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.
Step 4
Image Review/Selection
During your private image review session you will have the opportunity to review the images and select the ones you would like included in your package price. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional images and review our additional products.
FAQ
What should I bring?
- A HUNGRY DOG: Skip your dog's meal before the session or give a light meal. The dog will get a LOT of treats during the session.
- TREATS: Or the dog's meal (kibble). I will have treats available, but if you think your dog will get an upset stomach from getting too many new treats, please bring your own.
- If your dog has a favorite toy that will get their attention to look at the camera, please bring that as well.
When should I Groom my Dog?
If you are having your dog professionally groomed prior to the session, I recommend scheduling it at least a week or two prior to your appointment. Usually they look more like themselves once their groom has grown out a little.
Please DO ensure your dog is well groomed on the day of your session. Giving a good brushing prior to leaving the house to come to the session (especially for long-haired or shedding dogs) will ensure they look their best in the photos.
What if it rains the day of my appointment.
If it looks like rain or other unfavorable weather include excessive high or low temperatures on the day of your session, we will reschedule to the next available date. You and your dog's experience and comfort is my top priority and ensuring the process is as stress free as possible will help ensure everyone walks away happy.
What if I have questions?
I'm here for any and all questions. Please feel free to reach out at any time.
Do you require a deposit?
A 50% deposit is required to book your session. The deposit is non-refundable, but you can reschedule your session twice (not including weather related photographer discretion rescheduling) without losing your deposit within a 12 month period.
Why does if cost more if I get to select my photos?
You may be surprised to know that I while you will end up reviewing a handful of images, I will end up taking hundreds during our sessions. A good portion of my time is actually spent in front of the computer and not behind the camera. Getting a large number of photos prepped for viewing so a client can make a selection of their chosen few takes a time and effort.
